LPU NEST referred as Lovely professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test which is organized by LPU. Counselling Process
After the result announcement, successful candidates is called for counselling procedure. The LPU NEST 2017 counselling process has been started from 5th May, 2017. In counselling procedure, candidates will be allotted a seat on the basis of choices filled by them. Candidates are required to bring the required original documents along with photocopies for the document verification.
LPU NEST 2017 MBA (Schedule-II) call for interview has been started from 5th May 2017. Candidates who have qualified the exam will be called for interview. The result for interview will be declared on 15th May 2017.

LPU NEST 2017 Result
The LPU NEST 2017 Result has been announced by the authority on 4th May, 2017. The result has been published through the official site of university and will also be sent on the email ID provided by the candidates. Candidates are advised to take printouts of the result and keep it safe till the admission process.
Result for MBA (Schedule-II) has been declared on 4th May 2017. Candidates can check their result from here (link for checking the result is provided above). Candidates who will qualify the exam will be eligible to participate in counselling process.
LPU NEST 2017 Application Form
- The LPU NEST 2017 Application Form for B.Tech was released on 14th November, 2016.The last date was extended till 30th April 2017 (with late fee).
- The application form was available through online and offline mode.
- In online mode candidates can download the application form through the official website of the University.
- Candidates can also purchase it from the admission office at the university campus.
- Fee payment can be done through debit/credit card, net banking or through demand draft.
- Candidates can send the application form by post or they can also submit it in person at the designated centers.

LPU NEST Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are suggested to check the eligibility criteria before applying:
- Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates must have passed or appearing in 12th or equivalent exam from CBSE, ICSE or any other recognized board.
- For admission in B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons.), Integrated (B.Tech-M.Tech) , Integrated (B.Tech-MBA), candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English subjects.
- For admission in B.Tech Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. Biotechnology (Hons.), B.Tech – BT (Food Process Engineering), students must have obtained 60% marks in 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths, Biotech, and Biology.
LPU Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The exam was conducted in both online mode (Computer Based Test) and offline mode (pen and paper based test).
- Language: The question paper was asked in English language only.
- Type of Questions: The question paper contains objective type questions.
- Negative Marking: No provision of negative marking for unanswered or wrong response.
- Duration: The test duration was 120 minutes.

LPU NEST Syllabus
Before preparing for exams, candidates should gather the complete information about the officially prescribed syllabus. The LPU NEST 2016 Syllabus will contain different subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology. Language medium will be English only. Questions will be asked from the above mentioned subjects.
LPU NEST 2017 Admit Card
The LPU NEST 2017 Admit Card was generated just after the slot booking system. Slot booking was started from 1st March 2017. Candidates who have booked their exam schedule themselves can download the admit card immediately. Candidates whose exam schedule has been booked by the University can download the admit card after 48 hours from the slot booking through the official website of the university. Candidates note down that the admit card was not sent by post. It is mandatory to bring the admit card at the examination center.
LPU NEST 2018
LPU NEST 2018 will be organized for admission to the engineering, management, law, design, etc courses. LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a university level examination. The application form will be available through online mode only.
