DU Admit Card 2017
Those Candidates who have applied for the PG programme, they can get DU 2017 Admit Card by accessing the Delhi University portal. The admit card has been issued through online mode on 26th June 2017. Candidate can take the printout of the admit card and reach at the examination center on the exam date.
DUExam Pattern
The exam pattern will be different for different academic courses offered by the university. The PG entrance exam will be OMR based examination. Candidates must note that for UG courses (merit based) there will be no entrance exam. The entrance exam will be held for UG courses (entrance based) and PG courses.
DU Syllabus
The DU syllabus for the entrance test for UG courses is based on the academic syllabus of class 11th and 12th. Candidates appearing for the UG Courses (entrance based) may check the official syllabus when the notification will be released by the university. Candidates must note that we will update the syllabus as soon as it will be released by the officials.

Admission to DU PG Courses
There will be two modes for admission to postgraduate courses namely
- Category-I (Direct Admission) 50% under all categories
- Category-II (Through Entrance Test)
Category-I (Direct Admission) 50% under all categories
The candidates applying under this category have to register themselves by filling the form in person with Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). All the faculties except those offering inter-disciplinary or professional course provides direct admission.
Category-II (Through Entrance Test)
Those seeking admission through entrance test are required to register online in NCWEB. The online registration will be conducted for admission to the PG courses under the faculties of Arts and Humanities/Law/Science and Engineering. Faculties offering inter-disciplinary or professional course provides admission through entrance test and interviews. The online registration for admission to the master’s courses of Delhi University will begins in the month of April, 2017 tentatively.
Registration Fee for SC/ST/PwD Candidates – Rs 250/- per course
Registration Fee for GEN/OBC Candidates – Rs 500/- per course
Note: There is no minimum age bar for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Du and its affiliated colleges.

Delhi University Admission Cut-off
The cut-off for UG merit based courses has been released on 23rd June 2017. Based on the cut-off marks released by the affiliated colleges of Delhi University, admission is provided to the eligible candidates. The determination of cut-off marks will be done on the basis of the candidate’s past experience and class 12th result of the school boards. The candidates will be notified about the cut-off marks through the official website of the University. After the announcement of cut-off lists by the University, the candidates are required to report to the college of his/her choice for admission. After that, fill the college admission form and University enrollment form.

The candidates are required to bring the following documents at the time of admission. All the documents are required in original along with 2 sets of self-attested photocopies.

- Category Certificate in case of SC/ST/PwD
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate
- Those who have passed 12th board from outside Delhi have to produce Transfer certificate and Migration Certificate

Reservations
- For SC Candidates – 15% seats
- For ST candidates – 71/2 seats
- For OBC candidates – 27% seats
- For PwD candidates – 3% seats reserved for the candidates having 40% physical disabilities
- For Armed Forces – 5% seats
- For Foreign Students – 5% seats
- Sports/ECA Quota – 5%
In the minimum eligibility marks, 5% relaxation is provided to the SC/ST candidates and 10% to OBC candidates.
The merit list prepared for the general candidates will contains all the candidates including SC/ST/OBC. The candidates belonging to reserved category if falls in the merit list then he/she is considered under the general category. In other words he/she is not entitled for admission under reserved category.
Delhi University Application Form
The DU 2017 Application form can be filled via online mode. There is separate form for GEN/OBC candidates and separate for SC/ST/PWD category candidates. Fill the form whichever is applicable to you. DU Admission Form 2017 has been released from 22nd May for Merit Based Undergraduate Admissions. The candidates can avail the forms along with information brochure through the website. Also, get the acknowledgement as the proof of the submission of admission form. The application form for PG admissions has been released from 12th June 2017. Students can fill the application form for UG Entrance Based courses from 16th June 2017.
