PESSAT 2017 Counselling
The PESSAT 2017 Counselling is held in two rounds through offline mode. PESSAT First Round Counselling for B.Tech programme was begin from 3rd & 4th June 2017 and PESSAT Second Round Counselling is starting from 9th July 2017. Two DDs in favour of PES UNIVERSITY GENERAL FUND payable at Bangalore:
- For Rs. 3,00,000
- For Rs. 10,000

PESSAT 2018
The PES University, Bangalore is the main conducting authority which conduct PESSAT 2018 (PES Scholastic Aptitude Test). This exam is a university level examination. It is a gateway to get admission to the various UG & PG programme of the university. PESSAT Application Form 2018 will be provided from the 3rd week of September 2017.
Admission
The admission in the PES University for the B.Tech Courses will be based the test score and personal interview. After taking PESSAT, the candidate will go through a short interview on the same day of the test in the examination centre. For B.Tech Courses, 40% seats will be reserved for the CET candidates. Remaining 60% seats will be filled through PESSAT 2017, COMEDK 2017 and Other National Level Entrance exams. The first preference will be PESSAT Test Scores.
PESSAT 2017 Application Form
The PESSAT 2017 Application Form is provided through online mode from the official link. The Link is given above. The application form is available from the 21st September 2017. For B.Tech courses, the registration was closed on 22nd May 2017. The last date for the registration of other courses will be July 2017. Candidates who submit fee through offline mode, they have to send the application form along with DD & Challan in the given address:

Application Fee
The fee will be submitted through online or offline mode. In online mode, candidates can pay the fee via Credit Card/Debit card/ Net banking and in offline process, they will deposit the fee via Demand Draft and Challan. The exam fee is Rs. 1050 for all candidates. Candidates who pay the fee from DD, they have to submit the fee in Favor of “PES University General Fund” payable at Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for PESSAT 2017 are given below.
- Candidate must be Indian Citizen.
- Candidates have to qualify their intermediate or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Candidates have to secure at least 60% of the given subjects.
- The age limit is 17 to 25 years till the month of December of the year of the examination.
PESSAT Exam Pattern
The PESSAT 2017 Entrance Test will be conducted through online mode. B.Tech Exam was held in the month of May 2017. All other courses entrance exam will begin from the 7th January 2017 to July 2017. The exam pattern of B.Tech & MBA programme are given below.
For B.Tech Course:
- Duration of Exam: The time duration is 2 ½ hours.
- Number of Questions: The question paper was contain 180 questions.
- Subjects: The question paper was comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English Grammer. 60 questions was asked from the Physics and Mathematics, 40 from Chemistry and 20 from English Grammer.
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the examination.
- Syllabus: The syllabus of PESSAT 2017 was consist of class 11th and 12th level.
For MBA Course:
- Duration of Exam: The time duration is 2 hours.
- Number of Questions: The question paper will comprises of 120 questions.
- Subjects: The question paper will consist of English Comprehensive/Verbal Ability, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and General Awareness. 30 questions from English Comprehensive/Verbal Ability, 40 questions will be asked from Analytical & Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Reasoning and 10 from General Awareness.
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the examination.
PESSAT 2017 Admit Card
After the registration closed, the slot booking process was started from 21st April 2017 for B.Tech Courses. The slot booking & admit card for other courses is announced on 5th January 2017. In the procedure of slot booking, candidates can reserve their test date and time. The procedure will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis. After the slot booking, candidates can take the printout of the PESSAT 2017 Admit Card. Once the candidate reserves the test date and time, no changes will be permitted.

PESSAT 2017 Result
The PESSAT 2017 Result was declared on the 24th May 2017 for B.Tech Course.The Result has been announced in the official site of the conducting authority (link is given above). Candidate can get their result by entering their roll number and Date of Birth. Candidates have to take the printout of the result for further reference. After the result announcement, merit list will be published. On the bases of the merit list candidates will be called for the counseling process.
