Counselling process for 2nd round was started from 3rd July 2017. The qualified candidates of UPSEE 2017 are required to attend the counselling process for getting admission in various courses offered by the colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The counselling fee is charged from the candidates to attend the counselling round. Candidates belonging from general category and OBC category have to pay Rs. 20000/- and Rs. 12000 for SC/ST candidates. This counselling fee will be adjusted to the admission fee at the time of admission.

AKTU/UPTU Counselling Procedure
Candidates whose documents are successfully verified will be eligible for choice filling. Candidates are required to fill the choices online for courses and colleges where they want to pursue their studies. Candidate’s can mark a number of options. Seats will be allocated to the candidates on the basis of their rank in UPSEE 2017. To fill the choices, students need to login by using the login credentials. Once the choice filling procedure has completed, the seat allotment result will be announced. Result can be checked by logging into the official website of UPSEE. At last, candidate’s will have to confirm their seats. Three options will be provided viz freeze option, float option and withdraw option.
If candidate is satisfied with his/her seat then he/she can choose ‘freeze’ option. If not satisfied, then choose ‘withdraw’ option. In case, if you want to confirm your seat but wish to upgrade your seat in the further round of counselling then you can choose ‘float’ option. Lastly, download your provisional allotment letter and report to the allotted college.

- UPSEE 2017 registration slip for JEE Main candidates only

- Character Certificate
- Income Certificate for financially weak candidates
- Rural weightage certificate (if applicable)
- GDDA category certificate (if applicable)
- Subcategory certificate (for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/Physically handicapped)
