Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (AP LAWCET 2017) is a state level law entrance test regulated by Sri Venkateswara University on the behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). This entrance test is organized along with APPGLCET for admissions in undergraduate and PG law courses offered by various universities located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. For 3 Year LLB courses around 8030 seats are available and for 5 Year Integrated LLB courses around 3800 seats are available in different colleges of Andhra Pradesh. AP LAWCET 2017 Counselling
A rank list will prepared as per the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination. Students will be admitted as per their rank obtained in the rank list. Only successful candidates will be invited for the AP LAWCET Counselling 2017. After counselling process, students are required to go to the allotted center for further admission process.
AP LAWCET 2018
Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (AP LAWCET 2018) will be held for providing admission to the 3 year & 5 year LLB courses. This exam will be managed by the Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on the behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. Candidates will be able to get the application form from the Last week of February 2018.
AP LAWCET Application Form 2017
The AP LAWCET Application Form 2017 was provided through the official website of the authority. The application form was released from the 18th February and was available till 17th April 2017 (with late fee). Candidates are required to upload the scanned image of passport size photograph and signature. Students are required to take printout of the application form and keep it safe for future correspondence.
Application Fee:
The application fee for AP LAWCET examination is Rs. 700/- (+ 57.50 processing fee). The fee payment can be made through two modes. The first mode is to pay through debit, credit card or net banking or through the designated AP online centres. The application fee for AP PGLCET examination is Rs. 800/- (+ 57.50 processing fee).
AP LAWCET 2017 Eligibility
- Students should be an Indian Nationals.
- Candidates must satisfy the local or non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.
- Candidates other than Indian Nationals are also eligible to apply for few reserved seats.
- For LLB 3 year course, students should have passed graduation from any recognized university with securing minimum 45% marks for general and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- For LLB 5 year course, candidates must have cleared intermediate or equivalent exam from any recognized board with obtaining at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).
- For LLM course, students should have passed LLB from any recognized university.
- There is no maximum age limit criteria for law courses.
APLawCET Exam Pattern
The question paper was contain objective type questions, including multiple choice questions and matching items. There was total 120 questions and the test duration was 90 minutes. Each question was contain four alternative answers. Students have to choose the right answer. The question paper was asked in both English and Telugu language. The question paper was contain total 120 maximum marks. There was no negative marking for incorrect response.

AP LAWCET Syllabus
The syllabus will contain three parts, i.e. General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Aptitude for the study of Law. For 5 year law courses, the syllabus will be asked from intermediate level and for 3 year law course, the syllabus will be of degree level.
AP LAWCET 2017 Hall Ticket
Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination, was able to download the admit card through the official website. The AP LAWCET Admit Card 2017 was available to download from 14th April 2017. The admit card was not be sent by post. It is mandatory to bring the admit card at the examination venue.
AP LAWCET Result 2017
The authority was released the AP LAWCET 2017 Rank Card on 24th May 2017. The AP LAWCET Result 2017 was provided to students on 9th May 2017. The result can be viewed through the official site of the authority (link is given above). Candidates should note that the rank card was not be sent by post. Candidates are needed to enter their roll number and other required details to view the result. Don’t forget to take printout of the result for further use.
