AIIMS 2017 Counselling for open round will be conducted on 27th September 2017. All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conduct a national level exam. Note: All UR seats of AIIMS MBBS-2017 have been filled, therefore counselling on 4th July 2017 is cancelled. All candidates from rank 586 onwards are eligible for 2nd counselling.
The counselling process (open round) for MBBS programme will be started from 27th September 2017. The AIIMS 2017 counselling will be organized in four rounds (First, Second, Third & Open counselling) for all the categories. The counselling for allocation of all seven AIIMS for admission to MBBS programme will be held through offline mode. Last year, the counselling will be held at AIIMS, New Delhi. Candidates have to select the choices of the institutions as per their decision in the counselling process. The allotment of seats during counselling will be based on the inter-se-merit/ranking of the examination.
It is necessary for all the candidates to present physically on the day of counselling. No request for authorized representative on behalf of the candidates will entertain. If candidates will not present on the day of counselling physically, they will be marked absent & candidature will be cancelled.

AIIMS Admission Process 2017
The given AIIMS counselling procedure will be adopted for counselling for all seven AIIMS:
- In the counselling process, the seats will be filled by the open (General/UR) candidates first, wherein all UR, SC, ST or OBC candidates will be called for the counselling procedure on the basis of the merit list.
- The counselling process of unreserved category seats will be started only after the filling up of all the unreserved seats.
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) will be counseled to fill up the seats earn marked for them in their relevant categories.
- During the counselling, if reserved category candidate gets an unreserved seat under open competition in any institutions and they opts for other institution of their choice in the reserved category seat counselling, the seat vacant by them in open merit counselling will be filled by the candidate belonging to that particular reserved category only in the order of the merit list.
- Candidates have to present in person for the allocation of seats. Candidates have to fill the choices of the Institutions when called for the counselling as per their rank in a particular category. Choices thus made will be final.
Documents Required at the time of Counselling
Candidates have to report at the venue center of counselling along with the original documents/certificates:
- 10+2 or Equivalent Exam Mark sheet & Passing Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Category Certificate
- Six Passport Size Photograph
- AIIMS 2017 Admit Card
- Call Letter
- One set of self attested copies of all the certificates
