JEE Main 2016 Exam Dates

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) is a national level examination regulated by the CBSE Board. This exam is organized to provide admission in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institution. It will be conducted in two parts i.e. paper 1 for B. E./B. Tech. and paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning. The JEE Main exam dates have been announced by the board. Here in this article we are providing information about JEE Main 2016 Exam Dates.

JEE Main 2016 Exam Dates

The JEE Main application form, exam and result dates have been announced officially and the other dates will announce very soon. The JEE Main 2016 Exam Dates are as the following:

• Application form starts: 1^st December 2015
• Last date to submit application form: 31^st December 2015
• Correction window: 2 weeks in the second half of January 2016
• Release of Admit card: 1^st week of March 2016
• Pen and Paper Based exam: 3^rd April 2016
• Computer Based exam: 9^th April 2016 & 10^th April 2016
• Release of Answer Key: 2^nd week of April 2016
• Result Announcement: 27^th April 2016
• Counselling Starts: 1^st week of July 2016

Candidates can submit and fill the application form from the 1^st December 2015 to 31^st December 2015. Any correction in the application form can be done in the two weeks correction window in the second half of January 2016. The JEE Main admit card will be released in the 1^st week of March, 2016. The JEE Main offline mode exam will be conducted in 3^rd April 2016 and online mode exam will be conducted in 9^th April 2016 & 10^th April 2016.

After the successful completion of the exam, the answer key will be released in the 2nd week of April. The CBSE Board will provide results to students on 27^th April 2016 and after the result announcement, counselling will begin from the 1^st week of July 2016.
