CLAT 2016 Important Dates

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2016) is a centralized test which is held for the sixteen prominent National Law Universities in the country. The candidates who have passed their higher secondary education or class XII can apply for the exam. The exam is held for the undergraduate and after graduation in Law for Masters of Law (LLM) programme conducted by the participating law universities. Other private law colleges and Public Sector Undertakings also use the CLAT score for admission. In this article we will discuss about the CLAT 2016 Important Dates.

CLAT 2016 Important Dates

The tentative dates of CLAT 2016 are given below. Soon we will update the official date.

• Availability of application forms- starts from 1^st week of January 2016 to last week of March 2016
• Last Date of online submission of application form- last week of March 2016
• Dispatching of CLAT 2016 Admit Card- starts from mid of April 2016
• CLAT 2016 Examination Date- 1^st to 2^nd week of May 2016
• CLAT Result 2016 Declaration Date- 3^rd to 4^th week of May 2016
• Admission Process – will start from 4^th week of May to 1^st week of July 2016
• Closure of Admission- 1^st week of July 2016

According to the tentative dates the application form will be available from 1^st week of January 2016 till last week of March 2016. Candidates are required to fill the application form correctly and completely. The admit card will be available from mid of April 2016. The exam date of CLAT is 1^st to 2^nd week of May 2016.

The result of the CLAT entrance exam will be declared on 3^rd to 4^th week of May 2016. The admission process will begin from 4^th week of May to 1^st week of July and admission will be closed on 1^st week of July 2016.
