clat 2016Common Law admission Test (CLAT 2016) is held for the candidates who are interested in undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. The exam will be conducted by Chakanya National Law University, Patna. The students who have passed their class XII examination can appear for this test. The test is held for the sixteen prominent National Law Universities in the country. In this article we will discuss about How to prepare for CLAT.

How to prepare for CLAT

Candidates appearing for the CLAT exam must have to follow the guidelines given below for scoring good marks in the entrance exam. The guidelines for preparing for CLAT are given below:

Time Management:

Students need to manage their time for the exam. Time management is crucial to crack the law entrance paper as the students have to attempt 200 questions in 120 minutes. Students must divide their time for each section so that they will attempt all the questions.

CLAT Sample Papers:

Candidates can prepare from the sample papers. The sample paper will give an idea to the candidates about the exam pattern.

Reading Current Affairs:

Candidates should update their knowledge by reading the newspapers and magazines. Reading the newspaper regularly will update the candidates about what is happening in the country. Candidates should update their general knowledge in political, social and cultural scenario.

Joining Coaching:

Candidates can also join the coaching institutes. The coaching institutes will give guidance to the candidates of attempting the question paper and also tells the short cut tricks for attempting the question.

Notes Preparation:

Students should prepare the notes of important topics. They can read the important topics just before the examination.

Time Schedule:

The questions of CLAT will come from the five subjects. Students should make their time-table in such a way that each and every topic of all the five subjects are covered.

Revision:

It is important that candidates should revise all the topics carefully. The more you revise the better you understand. Thus the candidates are advised to revise the syllabus carefully before the exams.
