AIIMS is an autonomous institution that was founded in the year of 1956. The university conducts separate entrance exam for admission in B.Sc and M.Sc Nursing. It is a national level entrance exam. The admission will be strictly based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. Here we are providing the complete information about AIIMS Nursing 2017.
AIIMS Nursing 2017 Application Form
Candidates can get the application form from the official portal of the conducting body. The AIIMS Nursing 2017 Application Form will be available through online mode. The online registration will be started from the Second week of March 2017. Candidates must fill the application form correctly as no rectification will be allowed. Candidates keep the print copy of the application form for the further reference. The last date to fill the application form will be the First week of April 2017.
Application Fee
Candidates can pay the fee only through online mode (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking). Candidates belonging to the General/OBC category have to pay Rs. 1000/-. Those candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe have to submit Rs. 800/- as the application fee.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to fulfill the given eligibility criteria for appear in the AIIMS Nursing 2017 Entrance Exam:

Exam Pattern
The entrance exam will be organized in English Language. The duration of the M.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam is 1 hour 30 minutes. 90 MCQ type questions will be asked in the exam. The duration of B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing is 2 hours. It consists of 4 subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. The question paper will be of 100 marks. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in all the courses. For each correct response 1 mark will be given and incorrect response -1/3 marks will be deducted.
B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) entrance exam will be conducted in two phases. Phase I is written test and Phase II is the Personal Assessment/Interview. The time duration is 90 minutes. 70 Objective type questions will be asked from the given subjects: Fundamentals of Nursing, Physiology & Pharmacology, Medical Surgical Nursing including Anatomy, Obstetrics Nursing and Midwifery, Psychiatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Professional Trends in Nursing and Paediatric Nursing. Personal Assessment Marks will be awarded out of 30.

AIIMS Nursing 2017 Admit Card
AIIMS Nursing 2017 Admit Card will be available through online mode from the official portal. The admit card of B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing 2017 and B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) 2017 will be announced in the second week of May 2017. Candidates who apply for M.Sc. Nursing 2017, they will get their admit card from the First week of June 2017.
AIIMS Nursing 2017 Result
Candidates can check their AIIMS Nursing 2017 Result on the official website of the conducting authority on the given dates. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. The Shortlisted candidate list will be published on the official site. Candidates can also inform through email/SMS in the registered email Id and Mobile number. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates by post.
AIIMS Nursing 2017 Counselling
The counselling process will be held strictly on the basis of the merit list. Candidates can choose the subject according to the rank and seat availability. For B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing Course, candidates will be called four times in counselling process for different categories. The Counselling order will be GEN/OBC/ST/SC. For all other courses, candidates will be called eight times for counselling procedure.
