XAT 2017 Registration: Eligibility, Dates, How to Apply

XAT 2017 registration will start in the month of September, 2016 (tentatively). The registration process will be completely online. It is the all India level examination conducted for admission to MBA programme. XAT is administered by XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) on the behalf of XAMI. XAT 2017 Registration Notification

It is expected that XAT 2017 notification will be released by the exam conducting authority in the month of September, 2016. For all the latest updates regarding this exam, candidates can check this section on regular basis.

XAT 2017 Registration

Aspiring candidates can register for XAT 2017 through online mode only. There is no offline mode for submitting the XAT application form 2017. To register online, first of all candidates have to meet all the eligibility conditions. Candidates can ensure their eligibility for the examination from the below section of our article. XAT 2017 Registration will be begun from the month of September, 2016 and last till the month of December (tentatively). Details regarding the registration fee of XAT 2017 is mentioned below in the sub-section of this article.

Registration Fee

In order to register for XAT 2017, candidates have to pay Rs. 1500/-. Here, we have mentioned the registration fee details as per the previous year record. There may be variation in the registration fee for the year 2017. Candidates who wish to apply for XLRI programme are required to pay an additional fee of Rs. 250/-.

There are three alternatives available for the fee payment:

Online Payment (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking)
Demand Draft
Cash Payment

Candidates as per his/her suitability can choose the payment mode for remitting the registration fee. Payment through demand draft can be done at any bank and DD must be drawn in favor of XLRI Jamshedpur A/C XAT. Cash payment can be done in any of the branch of IDBI Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility required to apply for XAT 2017 is mentioned below:

Aspirants must have passed 3-years bachelor degree in any discipline from the recognized University.
Final year exam appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
NRI and Foreign candidates can apply for admission through GMAT score card (except Dubai and Kathmandu candidates).
Candidates who have scored marks less than 50% are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply

Go through the official link of XAT 2017 (will be provided above).
Click on Register to create your account.
Enter your email ID in the prescribed space.
Now, check your mail ID where you will get unique XAT ID and registration link.
Note down your XAT ID and click on the registration link that enables you to set your own password.
With the help of this XAT ID and password, you can login your account and proceed towards the filling the application form.
Select your citizenship (Indian/Foreign/NRI).
If interested to apply for XLRI then select your programme otherwise skip this step.
Fill your basic details, address, educational details and work experience (if any).
Choose your test city.
Upload scanned digital photograph and signature (size should be less than 1 MB).
Choose your mode of payment and pay the prescribed fee to complete XAT registration 2017.
Now, take the printout of the confirmation page. Candidates making the payment through DD are required to send the printout of confirmation page along with DD to the following address:

How to Register for XAT 2017

At the time of XAT 2017 registration, the following details/documents will be needed:

Personal Details and Academic details (class X, class XII, Graduation).
Valid Email ID and contact number.
Mailing address and permanent address.
Scanned copy of Digital photograph and signature (file size should not be more than 1 MB and must be in .Jpeg format).
Keep ready your credit card/debit card/Net banking details for online payment.

Candidates can register online by following these simple steps:

Step-1: Register Online to Receive XAT ID

Visit the official link that will be provided under the notification section of this article.
Click on Register and create your account.
Enter your Email Id.
Now, login with the help of XAT ID and password that will be received in your registered Email ID.

Step-2: Fill the Application Form

Fill all your basic details that include your name, mother’s name, DOB, Gender, Mobile Number, Gender, etc.
Enter your address and academic details of class 10th, 12th and graduation.
Enter work experience (if any) and click on Next button.

Step-3: Upload Scanned Documents

Choose file and Upload the scanned copy of your digital photograph in the prescribed format.
Upload your signature.

Step-4: Fee Payment

In this step, choose your payment mode.
Make the requisite payment.
Click on Proceed.

Step-5: Print the Confirmation Page

At last candidates are required to take the printout of the confirmation page for further references. Candidates who opt Demand draft as the payment mode are required to send the confirmation page and DD to the admission office of XLRI (address is mentioned above).

XAT Application Form 2017 Correction

No correction facility will be entertained for making correction in XAT application form. Applicants are strictly advised to fill all the details properly and carefully. A single mistake in the application form may be the cause for rejection of application form.
