NDA 2017 Application Form: Eligibility, Dates, How to Apply

NDA 2017 Application Form will be available through online process only. NDA is a national level examination managed by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This examination is organized for recruiting appropriate candidates in Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. This examination is organized two times in a year i.e. NDA-I (April) and NDA-II (September). Here we are providing information about NDA Application Form 2017.

NDA 2017 Application Form Notification

Any notification regarding NDA Application Form 2017 has not released by the authority yet. Whenever the official notification gets released we will update it here as soon as possible.

NDA 2017 Application Form

Candidates can access the NDA Application Form 2017 through online process only through the official link. No other mode will be available for the application form. The NDA application form will be available from the first week of January 2017. Applicants are required to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the application form. There is no need to send the hard copies of the application form to the authority.

Application Fee:

The application fee is Rs. 100/- for general and OBC students and SC/ST students or sons of JCOs/NCOs/Ors categories are not required to pay any application fee. Candidates can make fee payment via online (Visa, master, debit card and net banking) or offline (Cash payment in SBI Bank).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Indian Nationals, a subject of Bhutan or Nepal, Tibetan refugee came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Male unmarried candidates can apply for this exam.
Candidates should be medically fit as per the norms set by the authority.
To apply for NDA-I, students should be born between 2^nd July 1998 to 1^st July 2001.
To apply for NDA-II, students should be born between 2^nd January 1999 to 1^st July 2002.
Students should have passed or appearing in 12^th or equivalent with physics and mathematics subjects (For Air Force/ Naval Wings of National Defence Academy & for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy)
Students must have cleared or appearing in 12^th or equivalent exam (for Army Wing of National Defence Academy)

NDA 2017 Application Dates

NDA (I):

Notification publish – First week of January 2017
Application form starts – First week of January 2017
Last date for online application form – Last week of January 2017
Exam date – Third week of April 2017

NDA (II):

Notification release – Third week of June 2017
Application form begins – Third week of June 2017
Last date for online application form – Third week of July 2017
Exam date – 2^nd or 3^rd week of September 2017

How to Apply

Visit the official website of UPSC (link will be provided here).
Go through the link “Click Here” for registration part-I.
Fill the necessary registration details.
Fill all the required details in the application form.
After submitting the entries, a registration number will be generated.
Candidates are required to note down the registration number for further use.
Go through the link Registration part-II.
Make the fee payment using online or offline method.
Upload the scanned images of photograph & signature in prescribed format.
Read the declaration and click on “I Agree”.
Now candidates can take the printout of the application form.

How to Fill the NDA Application Form 2017

Students should keep ready the following documents and details before the NDA registration:

Documents/Details Required:

Payment details.
Personal, qualification, guardian and communication details.
Valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
Scanned photograph with 140 pixels height x 110 pixels width. Image should be in jpg format and the image size should be between 3kb to 40kb.
Scanned signature. Signature should be made with black ink pen on white paper. Image should be in jpg format and meet the 110 pixels height x 140 pixels width dimensions. Image sized should be between 1KB to 40kb.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to fill the NDA application form 2017:

Step-1: Registration Part-I & Fill Application Form:

Visit Official Link: Visit the official website of UPSC (Link will be given here). Click on the link “Online application for various examinations of UPSC”. Click on the link “Part-I registration). Read the instruction carefully and click on “Yes” button.

Fill Application Form: The application form will appear on the screen. Candidates are required to fill the personal details, qualification and address details. After filling all the details click on the “Continue” button.

Verify Details: After filling the application form, candidates are needed to choose the branch preference and click on “Continue” button. Filled application form will appear on the screen. Check all the entries and click on “I Agree” button. Registration number will be generated, candidates are required to note down the registration number for future use.

Step-2: Registration Part-II & Fee Payment

Fee Payment: Click on the link “Part-II Registration”. Enter your registration ID and DOB and click on “Submit” button. Click on “Payment” option. Now make the fee payment through visa, master, debit card or net banking or through the cash payment in SBI branch.

Center Selection: Go through the “Center Selection” link. Choose the exam center and click on “Submit” button.

Step-3: Upload Scanned Images

Click on the “Photo & Signature Upload” section. Choose and upload the scanned images of photograph & signature in the prescribed format. Click on “Continue” button.

Step-4: Accept Declaration & Print Application Form

Click on the “Agreeing to Declaration” option. Read the declaration carefully and click on “I have read declaration & agree”. Now candidates will be able to take printout of the application form.

NDA 2017 Application Form Correction

After candidates have submitted the NDA application form 2017, no corrections or modifications will be permitted in the application form. Candidates can edit the entries in the application form till the Registration part-I get completed.
