There is not any state level exam will be organized in Haryana for providing admissions into B.Tech courses. Various top colleges and universities gives admission to students on the basis of the JEE Main exam. The JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is a national level examination organized by the CBSE Board for engineering aspirants.

B.Tech Admission 2017
Candidates looking for admission into B.Tech courses can appear for the JEE Main 2017 entrance exam. The JEE Main 2017 Application Form will be available from the first week of December 2016. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main examination is mentioned here:
- Candidates must have passed 12th, diploma (three year) or any other equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
- Students appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
- The date of birth should fall on or after 1st October 1992 (1st October 1987 for SC, ST and PwD candidates).
- Candidates passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2014 are not eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
Candidates can apply for admission through entrance examination or merit list drawn as per the marks obtained in the entrance test. The counselling procedure will be organized by respective college authority. Candidates will participate in the counselling as per their rank. Candidates have to pay the counselling fee and select the courses as per their choices. Students will get seat allotted on the basis of choices filled, rank, category and availability of seats.
