Admission Procedure

Candidates will get admission in the engineering courses of Pune through national level entrance test. Admission will be purely done on merit basis. Merit will be prepared as per the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test.

Entrance Exam

The admission in the engineering colleges of Pune is based on the JEE Main score. Admission into B.Tech programme is also done through MH CET. Some Universities also conduct their own entrance test for providing admission such as Bharati vidyapeeth University conduct BVP CET, Symbiosis International University offer admission through SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test).

  • Aspirant should have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from recognized educational board.
  • The qualifying examination should be passed with PCM subjects by securing 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).

Selection Procedure

Students have to appear and qualify the entrance test with qualifying marks. Selection will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance and rank in entrance test. The shortlisted candidates are required to appear the counselling process. The Counselling process involves registration, document verification, seat selection and seat allocation. The seats will be allotted as per the rank in entrance test, choices made by candidates and the availability of seats.
