GATE 2017 Score Card will provide through online mode. The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is the organizing institute of GATE 2017. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conduct for those candidates who are seeking admission in the ME/M.Tech programmes. GATE 2017 Score Card
After the result declaration, successful candidates can download their GATE scorecard which will be valid for 3 years. It will be available from the 27th March till 26th May 2017. If any candidates needed the soft copy of their GATE score card after 26th May to 31st December 2017, they have to submit the fee of Rs. 500 on the official site.
GATE score helps the candidates to get admission into M.Tech/ME programme in various Institutions. Candidates can also use GATE score card for PSU recruitment. The GATE score card contains the candidate’s name, GATE score, total marks scored by the candidate out of 100, qualifying marks, all India rank, number of candidates appeared in the paper, etc.
How to download the Score Card
Follow simple steps to download the GATE score card:
- Visit to the official portal.
- Click on the link “GATE 2017 Score Card”.
- Enter your Enrollment ID/Email Address, Password & Captcha.
- Click on submit button.
- Take the print of the GATE score card.
Calculation of GATE Score
Candidates can calculate GATE score by using this formula:
GATE Score=Sq + (St–Sq) (M–Mq) / (M¯t–Mq)
In the above formula:
M=marks secured by the candidate (It is actual marks for single session papers and normalized marks for multi-session papers)
Mq=qualifying marks for general category candidate in the paper.
M¯t=Average marks of the top 0.1% or top 10 (whichever is larger) of the candidates who appeared in the paper (in case of multi-session papers including all sessions)
Sq=350, score assigned to Mq
St=900, score assigned to M¯t
