How to Fill COMEDK UGET 2016 Application Form

The COMEDK UGET entrance exam is a perfect gateway for those students seeking for admissions in undergraduate programmes such as engineering, medical and dental offered by many colleges and universities in Karnataka state. Through this article, candidates can check the step by step procedure of How to Fill COMEDK UGET 2016 Application Form.

COMEDK UGET 2016 Online Registration

The application forms are has not been announced yet. Candidates can fill the application form in the first week of March, 2016 to first week of April, 2016 (Tentative). Firstly, candidates have to register online for RFA (Request for Application) after that candidate will be eligible to apply online. After filling the application form candidates are required to send the filled application form in the prescribed address.

Steps to fill the Application Form

The entire process to fill the application form has been divided into five steps which are described below:

Step – 1: Register for RFA
Step – 2: Applicant Login
Step – 3: Fill Details in the Application Form
Step – 4: Print & Send the Application Form

Step – 1: Register for RFA

Step – 1.1: Visit Official Website

  • Log on to the official website of COMEDK UGET.
  • Click on the RFA link.

Step – 1.2: Fill Registration Details

  • Read all the instruction carefully.
  • Click on the “Click Here” link.
  • A new page will open.
  • Fill all the details carefully like Name of the applicant, DOB, Course applying for, Unique photo ID proof, Photo ID proof number, Email ID and Mobile Number.
  • Click on the check box.
  • Click on the “submit” button.

Step – 1.3: RFA Confirmation

  • A new window will open which shows the entered RFA details.
  • Read out carefully all the entered entry.
  • Click on the “Edit” button if you want to do some correction.
  • Click on the “Confirm” button to submit the entries.
  • A pop-up message will appear on screen which shows the registration number.
  • Candidates are required to note down the registration number for further use.

Step – 2: Applicant Login

Step – 2.1: Login to Email ID

  • Log on to the email ID which candidates have entered at the time of filling the RFA entry page.
  • Open the mail related to “COMEDK UGET” (it will consist the User ID, Password and Application Form link).

Step – 2.2: Login to COMEDK UGET Application Form

  • Click on the application form link provided in the email ID.
  • A new page will open.
  • Enter your Email ID and Password here.
  • Click on the “Login” button.

Step – 3: Fill Details in the Application Form

The complete application form consists of total five parts. Candidates are advised to fill all the details carefully in the application form. The five parts of the application form are mentioned below:

Step – 3.1: Read Instructions Carefully

  • Candidates are required to read out all the instruction carefully.
  • Tick on the check box given at the end of the page.
  • Click on “Click Here” for further process.

Step – 3.2: Enter Details and Upload Photographs

The entire application form comprises of five parts which are mentioned below:

Part – 1: It consists of RFA Details which have been entered at the time of filling the RFA entry page. Candidates note down that these details are static and any changes in this page cannot be done.

Part – 2: Candidates have to fill the General details, Postal address details and Category details.

  • General Details: Enter your Nationality, Gender, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Guardian Name, Parents/Guardians Photo ID Proof, Parents/Guardians Photo ID Proof Number and Parents/Guardians Annual Income (in Rs.).
  • Postal Address Details: Enter your full postal address, city, state, pincode and phone number.
  • Category Details: Choose your Belong to category (By birth/domicile), category, minority status, belong to HK Region, etc.

Part – 3: Candidates are required to enter DD details like DD Amount, DD Number, Drawee Bank and DD date. Candidates must note down that the DD should be drawn from nationalized bank only in the favor of “COMEDK” and payable at “Bangalore”. The seal and signature of the bank authority are mandatory for demand draft.

Part – 4: Enter your academic details such as qualifying exam, month and year of passing, board of the qualifying exam, name of the institution last studied, place of the institution last studied, Roll/Reg/Index No. of the 10th standard marks card, Roll/Reg/Index No. of the 12th standard/2nd PUC marks card, Number of earlier attempts in COMEDK UGET and Result.

Part – 5: choose your test cities, candidates have to choose three cities as per their preference. Candidates are suggested to keep scanned images of photograph and signature ready to upload with the following specifications:

Photograph Specifications:

  • Image should be passport size with minimum size of 145 x 180 pixels (approx 3.8cm x 4.8 cm) and maximum 180 x 220 pixels (approx 4.8 cm x 5.8 cm).
  • Image size should be 200 kb.
  • Image should be of jpg/jpeg format.

Signature Specifications:

  • Image dimensions should be 230 x 90 pixels (approximately 6 cm x 2.4 cm).
  • Image size should not be more than 200 kb.
  • Image should be in jpg/jpeg format.

Upload Photograph:

  • Click on the browse button to select the image.
  • Click on the “Click to upload photo” to upload image
  • A confirmation window will open which shows that “Photo uploaded successfully”.

Upload Signature:

  • Click on the browse button to select the image of the signature.
  • Click on the “Click to upload signature” to upload image
  • A confirmation message will appear which shows that “Signature uploaded successfully”.

Step – 3.3: Form Submission

  • A preview of signature and photograph will appear on the screen
  • Click on the “submit” button given under the page.
  • A message window will open which ask you “Are you sure you want to submit”.
  • Click on the “Ok” button to submit the form.

Step – 4: Print & Send the Application Form

  • The submitted application form will consist of total three pages.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully recheck the application form.
  • Take the printout of the application form.
  • The application form should have the signature of parent/guardian mentioning the date and place.
  • The seal and signature from the head of the school or institution last studied (2nd PUC /12th Standard) are also required in the application form.
  • Candidates note down that the completed application form along with the DD has to be send before the due date in the address mentioned below:
