LSAT 2016The Law School Admission Test 2016 (LSAT 2016) is the worldwide level law entrance test regulated by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), USA. The candidates seeking for admission in the law schools situated in the foreign countries can appear this test. The examination authority invites the LSAT 2016 application form for those aspirants who want to pursue their LLM programme from the countries like the United States, Canada, Australia, etc. LSAT will be conducted 4 times in a year in the month of February, June, October and December respectively. The aspirants can take the examination maximum 3 times in a period of 2-year. LSAT examination is conducted in United States, Canada, Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, South America, Central America and Mexico. The law schools situated in different countries offer admission on the basis of the candidate’s academic performance and performance in LSAT 2016 test. LSAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility required by the candidates to appear LSAT 2016 standardized test is mentioned below:

  • There are no fixed eligibility conditions for LSAT examination. The eligibility criteria may vary from institutions to institutions.
  • It must be required for the candidates to have a valid Bachelors degree in law for appearing LSAT test.
  • The candidates who are appearing their LLB course are also eligible for taking the Law School Admission Test.

LSAT 2016 Application Form

The candidates can fill the LSAT 2016 application form through online mode only. The payment of the application fee of Rs. 3800 will be done either through online or offline mode. The offline fee payment can be done via demand draft/pay order/banker’s cheque drawn in the favour of Pearson India Pvt Ltd, payable at New Delhi/Noida.

LSAT 2016 Exam Pattern

There are 5 sections including one an unscored experimental section. Also, there is an unscored writing sample section of 35 minutes. The question paper type of LSAT 2016 is MCQ. 35 minutes will be assigned for every section, which makes a total of 3 hrs 30 minutes. There will be 2 sections of logical reasoning, one section of reading comprehension, one analytical reasoning section, experimental section and one writing sample section.

Some Salient Features of LSAT 2016:

  • Law School Admission Test 2016 is the paper-pencil based examination whose question paper type is objective.
  • In LSAT 2016, there is no provision of negative marking.
  • For each section, a fixed time period of 35 minutes will be decided.

Preparation

The registered candidates can do the preparation of LSAT examination through the practice tests or Prep tests. The official practice tests are known as the Prep Tests issued by LSAC to familiarize the candidates about the examination paper and questions. The students also refer the previous LSAT question paper or preparation books for better learning.

LSAT Admit Card

Download your LSAT 2016 admit card from the official website of the examination regulating body. The candidates are required to provide a valid email id to activate your account. After activating the account, download your admit card and take the printout for the same.

LSAT Scores

The LSAT score will be released by the examination authority after 3-4 weeks of the examination. The LSAT average score will be 150.  If seeking for admission in the top 25 law schools then, you are required to score around 160 marks in the examination.
