AIPVT 2018: Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern, Syllabus

Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will be the conducting body of AIPVT 2018 examination. It is a national level examination organized for providing admission to students in BV. Sc. & A.H. degree programme offered by various colleges and institutions across the country. Through this examination, admission into this course will be done under the 15 % All India Quota seats (except from Jammu & Kashmir). AIPVT Exam Date

Here we are providing the tentative dates of AIPVT 2018 examination:

AIPVT Application Form 2018

• Students can avail the AIPVT 2018 application form via online mode only.
• The AIPVT registration process will be started from the second week of January 2018.
• Candidates have to register through the website and note down the registration number.
• Enter all the required details in the application form.
• Upload the scanned images of Photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression, Parent’s Signature and Self Declaration (if applicable).
• Now, pay the application fee through online or offline mode.
• Candidates are advised to keep extra printouts of the application for further use.

Application Fee:

• The application fee is Rs. 1500/- (for general/OBC) and Rs. 750/- (for SC, ST & PH).
• The fee payment can be made through debit/credit card, net banking or e-challan of SBI Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Students should check the eligibility criteria before applying. The eligibility criteria is mentioned here:

• Nationality: Only Indian citizen can apply for this exam (except J&K).
• Minimum Age: Students must have completed 17 years age as on or before 31st December, 2017.
• Maximum Age: The upper age limit is 25 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Qualification: Students should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination.
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects are compulsory.
• Percentage Criteria: Students must have secured 50% marks in PCB subjects.
• Appearing Candidates: 12^th appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

AIPVT Exam Pattern

• Type of Question: There will be objective type questions.
• No. of Question: Total 180 questions will be asked.
• Duration: The exam duration will be three hours.
• Language: The language of question paper will be English & Hindi.
• Marking Scheme: Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

AIPVT Syllabus

• There is not any fixed syllabus prescribed by the authority.
• The syllabus will comprise of various topics from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
• The syllabus standard will be of 11^th & 12^th under the pattern of 10+2, intermediate, pre-medical university or 12th board.

FAQ’s (Most Asked Questions)

AIPVT Admit Card 2018

Successfully registered candidates can get the admit card via online mode through the website. Candidates also have to download the proforma for pasting of postcard size photograph. Students have to enter their Registration Number and password to download the admit card. It is necessary to bring the admit card at the exam centre.

AIPVT Answer Key 2018

The answer key will be published via online mode through the website. The answer key shall be released within a week after the examination. Candidates may also have the opportunity to challenge against the answer key. Candidates are needed to pay Rs. 1000/- per question to challenge the answer key.

AIPVT Result 2018

The AIPVT 2018 Result will be declared in the Last week of May 2018. The result can be seen via online process through the website. Enter the registration number, roll number and security pin to view the result. Don’t forget to take printout of the result for further admission process.

AIPVT Counselling 2018

The authority shall prepare a merit list on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam. The merit list will be prepared separately for all the categories. The AIPVT counselling process will be organized through online mode. Firstly, candidates are needed to fill and lock their choices of colleges as per their rank. After seat allotment, candidates have to report to the allotted college to complete the admission formalities.
