NIMCET Application Form 2018
We have mentioned here the NIMCET Application Form 2018 details:
- First of all, applicants can apply through online only.
- Applicants should register with login, password and then fill all the details.
- Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the required application fee through online mode.
- After successful completion of application form, a complete application form with a unique application number will be generated.
- Take a printout of the generated application form and send it along with all relevant documents by Speed Post/Registered Post to the address mentioned below:

Application Fee:
- The application fee is non-refundable in any circumstances.
- The application fee for OPEN/OBC will be Rs.1, 800/- and Rs. 900/- for SC/ST.
- Application fee can be paid through Credit card/Debit card/Net banking.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for NIMCET 2018 are given as follows:
- Qualifying Exam: Applicants should hold B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum 3 years full-time OR B.E / B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Open Universities Candidates: Students who have completed B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons)/BCA/ BIT of 3 years from Open Universities are also eligible to apply.
- Appearing Candidates: The applicants those appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
- Minimum Marks: Indian National applicants must secure a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC, ST).
- Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear in the exam.
NIMCET Exam Pattern
The NIMCET exam pattern is given below:
- Duration of Exam: The total time given for whole exam is two and half hours.
- Exam Mode: The exam will be organized through pen and paper based mode.
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English language only.
- Types of Questions: It will be based on Multiple Choice Question.
- Total Questions: Total of 120 questions will be asked.
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer.

FAQ’s (Most Asked Questions)
NIMCET Admit Card 2018
NIMCET Hall Ticket 2018 will be issued from second week of May 2018. Admit card will not be sent to any applicant individually by post. Applicants are informed to bring the admit card at the examination centre. The admit card will contain details like student’s name, roll number, exam centre, etc.
NIMCET Result 2018
The result of NIMCET exam will be published in the second week of June, 2018. The result can be checked through the website. A rank list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the applicants in the entrance test. Applicants are advised to take a printout of the result for further use.
NIMCET Counselling 2018
Applicants those appeared and secured marks in NIMCET test will be allotted ranks as per their scored marks. As per the rank scored by the students, they can participate in the NIMCET counselling for admission into MCA programme offered by NITs. Candidates are required to fill the choices of institutions through online mode. After seat allotment, candidates have to report personally at the college to confirm admission.
