Vels Entrance Exam (VEE) is a national level entrance exam managed by the Vels University. This exam is organized for admission in professional courses such as engineering, pharmacy, management, etc. To get admission in the university campuses, candidate has to qualify the VEE. The entrance exam will be conducted in the second week of May 2017. Here, we are updating all the information about VEE 2017.
VEE 2017 Application Form
The VEE 2017 Application Form will be provided from the last week of December 2016. Last date to fill the application form is last week of April 2017. Candidates can get the application form in any of the following manner:
Download Application Form: Candidates can download the application form from the official website. After filling the application form, Candidates have to send the filled application form along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 800 in the below given address.
Online Mode: Those candidate fill the application form through online mode, they can apply from the official portal. Candidates have to pay Rs. 800 through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. There is no need to send the application form through offline process. Candidates keep the print copy of the application form for future use.
Get Application Form by post: Candidates can get the application through post by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 550. After getting an application form, candidate can fill the form & send it along with the DD of Rs. 300. The filled application form will be sent in the below given address.
Offline Mode: Candidate also gets the application form from the Office of Vels University, Chennai by depositing Rs. 500 in cash. Candidates can submit the filled application form along with the DD of Rs. 300 in the given below address.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission in different courses are given below:
- Candidate must be an Indian National.
- Appearing candidates can also eligible.
- The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 25 years.

Exam Pattern
The duration of the entrance exam is 1 hour 30 min. 100 objective type question will be asked in the examination. For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded. The exam pattern of engineering course consists of the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Fundamentals of Computing and General knowledge. The MBA exam is comprise of Analytical skill, Language comprehension, Intelligence and critical reasoning, Mathematical skill and Indian & global Environment.
VEE 2017 Admit Card
Candidates can download their admit card from the official portal. The VEE 2017 Admit Card will be available from the first week of May 2017. Candidate can preserve the admit card till the admission process is over. In admit card, all exam details is mentioned such as examination centre, roll number, time and date of examination, etc.
VEE 2017 Result
VEE 2017 Result will be published in the first week of June 2017. Candidates can check their vels university results in the official site of the conducting authority. After the result declaration the merit list will be prepared.
VEE 2017 Counselling
After the result announcement, the counselling procedure will be started. Candidate will be called for the VEE 2017 counselling process on the basis of the merit list. Interview Cards will be sent to the selected candidates. On the basis of the qualifying examination and the entrance examination, candidate will be selected for the admission in their preferred course. Those candidate apply for the MBA programme, they have to face the Group Discussion/Personal Interview. Selected candidate have to report in the university on the specified date and time with all the original certificates.
