IRMA 2018: Registration, Exam Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern

IRMA 2018IRMA 2018 admission to various courses will be administrated by the Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand. IRMA offers admission in various courses like Fellowship Programme in Rural Management (FPRM), Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM), etc. Admission into FPRM & PGDRM courses will be done on the basis on CAT 2017 or XAT 2018 examination. Students also have to qualify an online admission test organized by IRMA to get admission in these courses. Here we have mentioned details for IRMA 2018 including application form, eligibility, important dates, etc.

IRMA Registration 2018

  • The IRMA Registration 2018 will be available via online and offline modes.
  • The offline application can be obtained by the Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand – 388 001 with the payment of required fee through DD.
  • Make the application fee payment through online or offline mode.
  • Candidates applying through offline mode are required to send the application form along with require documents to the authority address.

  • The application fee payment can be done through debit/credit card, net banking of SBI Bank challan.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for various courses is mentioned here:

For PGDRM:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized university.
  • Percentage: Students must have secured at least 50% marks for general and 45% for SC,ST & DAP.
  • Exam: Candidates must have qualified CAT 2017 or XAT 2018.

For FPRM:

  • Qualification: PGDRM from IRMA/ post graduation in any stream/ five or four year professional degree courses like engineering, agricultural science, etc.
  • Percentage: PG candidates must have obtained 55% (at PG level) and 50% (at graduation level).
  • Exam: Candidates should t have qualified CAT 2017 or XAT 2018.

IRMA Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
  • No. & Type of Question: Total 40 objective type questions will be asked.
  • Duration: Total exam duration will be 80 minutes.
  • Language: Question Paper will be asked in English language.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be give for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

IRMA Syllabus

The syllabus will contain topics from the Issues of Social Concern. The syllabus is designed to test the candidate’s understanding of relevant issues, ability to analyze and their view on conflicting socio-economic goals, objectives and demands.

IRMA Admit Card 2018

The IRMA 2018 Admit Card will be available via online mode through the website. The authority shall also send the hard copy of admit card by post. It is mandatory to bring the admit card along with a photo ID proof at the examination venue.

IRMA Result 2018

Candidates can check the IRMA 2018 Result of online admission test through online mode. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for further admission rounds organized by IRMA. Students are advised to take printout of result and keep it safe till the admission process.

IRMA Admission Process

After clearing the admission test, students also have to clear the Group Activity, Personal Interview & other rounds for admission. The final result for admission will be declared in the last week of March 2018. For PGDRM, students will be selected on the basis of Admission Test, Group Activity and Personal Interview. For admission in FPRM, candidates have to clear admissions rounds such as Admission Test, Interview and Presentation of an Essay.
